.... I mean in this day and age, with the Internet so huge and powerful. We shouldn't be paying monthly subscription fees, which are almost always over-priced, or paying "installation fees" and getting holes drilled throughout your house just to have a fancy box sit under your very expensive "HDTV" wide screen television. I will admit myself its a great feeling to sit and watch a film on a screen so big you feel like your right in the action, or a "Surround-Sound" system that not only makes you feel like your in the middle of a war zone, but comes complete with ear-drum splitting explosions as well.
I personally don't watch television anymore. I used to be a big fan. cartoons, films and sports used to be a good hit with me (the sports still is mind). but i soon realized why pay for television ? when i can download almost anything "tele-bound" today straight to my hard-drive. I used to watch films on tv, just so i could laugh at my favorite part. I can now just log on to Youtube and view it over and over again at my pleasure. films today that you could wait all week for on tv, can be downloaded in less then 2 hours at 10/10 quality.
